Halfway There: Bringing Joy, Movement, and Diverse Culture to Hounslow’s Care Homes with Stay Active Feel Good

The past few months have been incredible as we’ve reached the halfway mark on our project journey. Reflecting on what we’ve achieved so far, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement for all the connections we’ve made. Our goal? To bring Bollywood-inspired, chair-based exercise to care homes—and we’re thrilled to have introduced this joyful experience to over seven amazing care homes in Hounslow already.

The response has been beyond heartwarming. Many care homes have invited us back, and the feedback from staff and residents has been deeply touching. One caregiver shared, “You have come to our care home and made space in our hearts.” Moments like these, along with the hugs and laughter shared, make every visit more meaningful and drive us to keep revisiting.

This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the lottery funding, which has made it possible to scale the project and bring joy to so many people.
